I am in my element
Billowing air brushing my smooth, sultan skin
As I lean steadily against the dead, lifeless tree
My heart begins to tremble
The sun streaks across my face
Beckoning me forth
Into faint, veiled trails
Where everlasting stars illuminate my virgin paths
A vital force pulls me through the black oblivious arcade
While the sinister moon stares down at my poor soul
Slowly and cautiously trotting across, eyes weary
I wonder why these marauding shadows summon me
Why they lure me into these endless, withering fields?
My soul surrenders
My blind feet ramble
Escorted to a wicked domain
Where a cavern of rogues await
My final fate
Here . . .I am in my element.
